“If you have been searching for someone who will help you figure out the causes of your pain and will give you actionable steps you can take to reduce it, then you have found her! I spent 3 years going to different doctors and specialists who all wrote off my IBS symptoms, all while they were getting worse by the day. Finally, when I was at a point where I was being forced to work from home 2-3 days a week, I came across an article about nutrition that Lindsay had contributed to. After doing some research, I knew I had to reach out to her. I am so glad that I did. She helped me find the foods that were causing me so much pain and developed a diet plan that allowed my digestive tract to heal. I feel like I have woken up. My energy and joy is back, and it's all because Lindsay helped me adjust my diet to work for me, and not against me.”

"When solving health/weight issues like fibromyalgia and high blood pressure sometimes it’s good to have someone hold your hand. Lindsay helped me face a difficult task and made it much easier with just the right amount of assistance needed. After 6 months on the program, my fibro pain is less, my high blood pressure is under control, and I had lost 50 pounds. While working with Lindsay, I felt that she had my interests at heart and she was willing to stick with me to find a way that worked for me rather than making me fit the “normal” way. Being a difficult case because of having nearly all food at least somewhat sensitive, I still am cautiously testing foods. Lindsay has made a difficult time much easier to handle.”

“Working with Lindsay was a pleasure.  She was friendly and personable and listened patiently to my health history, exercise routines, and current nutrition habits.  Throughout our conversation she helped me identify attainable goals and put together concrete plans to meet those goals.  Lindsay was quick to encourage existing positive habits and pointed out areas in which I could improve, such as working towards reducing caffeine consumption by putting more focus on healthy sleep and exercise.  She also answered my questions about meal frequency, energy levels, sleep, blood sugar, and food additives, among many others.  I learned more about nutrition and the impact of what we eat on the body in one session with Lindsay than I did in weeks of trying to research such questions on my own.

Lindsay provided several helpful tools to assist in meal planning, which make routine meal planning and grocery shopping much more objective and healthy and help minimize impulsive purchases.  With references such as healthy snack lists, sample menus (with target nutrition and daily calorie intake amounts), and ideal plate proportions (much more helpful than the old, outdated food pyramid), meal planning has become easier and more consistent.

It's hard to overstate how much better I feel after just a month of following the healthy eating plans and principles that we discussed.  I am sleeping better, have more daily energy, and have noticeably reduced my caffeine intake (by about half).  I struggle less with fatigue and find myself more mentally focused throughout the day, even during the traditional afternoon slump.

I would absolutely recommend working with Lindsay to anyone wanting to improve their eating habits, or even those just looking to evaluate their current nutrition profile or adjust their nutrition to better match activity levels.  I definitely plan on working with Lindsay again in the future.”
